Jay Heller - Walton Class of 2007 - . Multiple academic honors. Four-time XC and Track letter winner, 2006 XC team captain, multiple team MVP honors. Numerous All-County, Metro, Region and State Honors. A 9 time State Meet Medal winner in XC and Track. School record holder in the 800m, 1600m, 3200m, 4 x 800m and 4 x 1600m. Footlocker All-South XC Team honors.
James Walker - Walton Class of 2006 - Johns Hopkins University. All-County academic athlete 2006. Multiple varsity letters in cross country and track. All-County 400m run 2005, All-State 4x400 relay team member 2006.
Adam Bradley- Walton Class of 2006 - Troy University. Multiple varsity letters in cross country and track, xc team captain.
Anna Day- Walton Class of 2006 - University of Alabama. All-County academic athlete 2006. Multiple varsity letters in cross country and track, 2006 XC team captain, All-Region XC Honors. Sub 20 minute 5K in 2005.
Ellen Black - Walton Class of 2006 - Vanderbilt University. All-County academic athlete 2006. Multiple varsity letters in cross country and track, 2006 XC team captain, All-Region XC Honors. Sub 20 minute 5K in 2005.
Corey Hunter - Walton Class of 2006 - University of Georgia. All-County academic athlete 2006. Three year varsity letter winner in cross country and track, 2006 XC team captain, multiple All-County, Metro, Region and State Honors. A 4 time State Meet Medal winner in XC and Track.

Caroline Miller - Walton Class of 2005 - Mercer University. Four year letter winner in cross country and track, 2005 XC team captain, multiple team MVP honors. Numerous All-County, Metro, Region and State Honors. A 5 time State Meet Medal winner in XC and Track. Top ten All-time Walton performer in the 3200m run.
Sam Bryfczynski - Walton Class of 2005 - Clemson University. All-County Top 25 Academic Athlete honors. Four-time XC and three-time Track letter winner, 2005 XC team captain, multiple team MVP honors and academic athlete awards. Numerous All-County, Metro, Region and State Honors. A 7 time State Meet Medal winner in XC and Track. Top ten All-time Walton performer in the 800m and 1600m run. School record holder in the 3200m run and 4 x 1600m relay. State XC course record holder and 2005 Georgia State AAAAA XC Champion. 2005 Georgia State Cross Country Athlete of the Year. 2005 Footlocker All-South XC Team.
Josh Kerzie - Walton Class of 2005 - North Georgia College & State University. A solid team contributor, 2005 XC team captain, multiple varsity letters. Placed 26th at the 2004 GA State XC Championship
in sub 17:00.
Vicki Macht - Walton Class of 2005 - Furman University. Multiple varsity letters and academic/athlete awards in cross country and track. All-County Top 25 Academic Athlete honors. Top ten All-time Walton performer in the 800m and 400m run. Medalist at State meet in the 800m as a Senior.
Jenna Stuckey - Walton Class of 2005 - Tulane University. All- County 2005 Academic Athlete. Multiple varsity letters. Top ten All-time Walton performer in the High Jump.
Amy Vorhies - Walton Class of 2004 - Samford University. An outstanding track and field athlete achieving multiple varsity letters. All-county performer in the 100m dash as a Senior.
Alex Meyers, Walton Class of 2004, is a member of the cross country team at Lynchburg College in Virginia. Alex will also play Lacrosse.
Charlie Dickhaus, Walton Class of 2004, will run cross country and track for the Georgia Bulldogs. Charlie's accomplishments were numerous: 2004 Indoor 3200m All-American, 2003 State 3200m champ, 2003 State 1600m runner-up, 2004 State XC runner-up, Walton 4 x 1600m school record holder, mulitple all-state, all-county, all-metro awards, team MVPs and team captain...simply one of the best distance runners to ever compete for Walton High school.
Emily Hoyt- Walton Class of 2004 - Appalachian State. Team Captain, multiple varsity letters in cross country and track.
Kristen Heffelfinger, Walton Class of 2003, will be competing for the University of Georgia. As a Raider, Kristen's many accomplishments included an individual State championship in 2002 cross country, and a 3rd place finsh in the 3200m run at the 2003 State Track & Field Championship.
Brad Wilson, Walton Class of 2003, will be competing for Auburn. Brad was a Captain of both the cross country and track teams during the 2002/2003 season. He capped off a very successful high school athletic career with a 6th place finish in the 1600m run at the State Championship.
Jessica Kerzie, Walton Class of 2003, will be competing for Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, GA. Jessica was the team captain for Walton's 2002 cross country state championship team.
Stephen W. White, Walton class of 2003, will be competing for the United States Naval Academy Track & Field Team. Stephen was named as Walton High School's "Scholar Athlete for the year 2003", and placed 6th in the state of Georgia at the high jump. He was also a standout in the 400m run.
Justin Lawrence, Walton class of 2002, is now competing for Georgia Tech's Track & Field Team. Justin was a four-year letterwinner in track and field at Walton High School and Campbell High School under coaches Tom Williams and Mike McCloud ... State qualifier in the 110 hurdles in 2001 and 2002 ... State finalist in the 110 hurdles as a senior ... Named to the all-region teams in 2001 and 2002 ... 2002 USATF National Junior Olympic Qualifier in the 110 hurdles ... Ranked in the top 100 in the 60-meter hurdles by DyeStat in 2002 ... Voted as the team's most outstanding hurdler in junior and senior seasons ... Part of the Walton Habitat for Humanity, Distributive Education Clubs of America, Raiders Aspiring for Cancer Elimination and Future Business Leaders of America ... PRIDE Academic Award winner.
Will Campbell, Walton Class of 2002, is a member of the University of Colorado's Cross Country team. Will was a standout distance runner throughout his year's at Walton, competing with the best at the County, Region and State levels. He was team captain as a senior. After taking a year off from competition following his graduation, Will continued to train, and subsequently landed a spot as a walk-on for Colorado, one of the nation's premier programs.
